Leisure Economy

LRM invests in experiential real estate to help increase the appeal and tourism potential of Limburg and to create sustainable jobs.

For example, we are working on the redevelopment of the former mining site of Beringen under the name be-MINE; the former mining site of Eisden in Maasmechelen has been transformed into Terhills.

Both be-MINE in Beringen and Terhills in Maasmechelen are magnificent locations with numerous investment opportunities for everything related to the leisure economy.

be-MINE

The Beringen mining site encompasses 100,000 m² of existing building heritage. It is the largest industrial heritage site in Flanders and unique in Europe. The site is being redeveloped by be-MINE nv, a collaboration between LRM and private developers Ciril and Van Roey Vastgoed.

The goal? To create a unique tourist recreational heritage project with international potential, which also serves as a significant catalyst for the adjacent residential area. be-MINE offers incredible opportunities for private investors.

Do you harbor an entrepreneurial dream in the hospitality or leisure industry? Or do you have a concrete idea? Be sure to contact us.

Terhills

Through its project company Terhills nv, LRM transformed the area of the former mining grounds of Eisden into a supra-regional leisure site. Terhills is a significant catalyst for employment and economic growth in the region.

On this extensive site, you’ll find various attractions: Terhills Resort by Center Parcs, Terhills Hotel, Terhills Cablepark, and the main entrance gate to the Hoge Kempen National Park. Additionally, Elaisa Energetic Wellness is also located at Terhills.

This makes Terhills a unique gem with numerous investment opportunities for everything related to the leisure economy. Feel free to contact us for more information.
