Ducatt NV is a spin-off from Emgo, a pioneer and innovator in the field of glass bulbs for lighting and tubed glass. The glass factory in Lommel is being transformed into an innovative facility for the production of specialised glass plates for photovoltaic purposes, with employment opportunities for 100 people.

With all of its expertise in the traditional glass industry, Ducatt has the opportunity to become the most important supplier in this sector.

LRM, Capricorn Venture Partners, Dexia PE and Quest for Growth have together invested 20 million Euros in this innovative spin-off. The foundation of Ducatt is an important building block for the expansion of the solar industry in Limburg as the company will attract other innovative businesses higher up in the value chain.
