Genk/Hasselt, December 10, 2009. The investment company LRM and VVL FEBETRA are joining the non-profit organization Move IT. Move It Expo 2010 is an international exhibition for the transport and logistics sector, taking place from 17-19 March 2010, in Genk (Belgium).
Move It Expo 2010: An international in character
The wider Euregio area promises to become a top European region in the field of transport and logistics. Its central location, the availability and affordability of industrial ground, the presence of trained work capacity (with good language skills) are highly significant advantages. Furthermore, the continuing extension of logistical axes, such as the 'Iron Rhine' (IJzeren Rijn) and the Albert Canal, as part of a good multimodal traffic solution, represent further positive characteristics.
Move It Expo 2010 will be organized in this region from 17-19 March 2010. Move It Expo 2010 is an international trade and job fair for the logistics and transport sector. For three days, the Limburghal in Genk will be the meeting place for the entire sector.
Logistiek Platform Limburg (Belgium-Flanders), IHK Aachen (Germany), ELC (The Netherlands) and Logistics in Wallonia (Belgium-Wallonia) have already promised their cooperation in an effort to put the Euregio area on the map as the logistical turntable of Europe.
Breakthrough scenario
In 2007, the Vlaams Instituut voor Logistiek (VIL) researched the future potential of the logistics sector in Limburg. All important actors put their money behind the ambitious breakthrough scenario from this study and supported the implementation of an action program to enable it.
Move It Expo is showing off the logistical ambitions of Limburg and the wider Euregio area and forms an important link in the realization of the Euregio area as the logistical gateway to the rest of Europe.
This is also the reason why VVL-Febetra and LRM have decided to join Move It.

Move It Expo 2010 is an international exhibition for suppliers and the transport and logistics sectors and will take place in the Limburghal in Genk.
The cooperation with the Logistiek Platform Limburg (Belgium, Flanders), Logistics in Wallonia (Belgium, Wallonia), the ELC Limburg (The Netherlands) and IHK Aachen (Germany) will guarantee an international audience and many international exhibitors.
