Unused Punch Powertrain industrial terrain activated
St-Truiden-Hasselt, 19 August 2010. The Investment Company LRM purchases 10 hectares of unused industrial terrain from Punch Property International. It will be transformed into an SME zone and part of the area can be put to commercial use with immediate effect.
10 hectares of industrial terrain for Limburg SMEs
LRM has purchased 10 hectares of industrial terrain from Punch Property International, an Accentis subsidiary. Forming part of the Punch site in Sint-Truiden, the grounds were leased by Punch Powertrain but not used by its current lessee. In purchasing the land LRM commits to reactivate the grounds and make them available to Limburg SMEs.
Immediately available
The new SME terrain is located within the Schurhovenveld industrial zone at Sint-Truiden. Approximately 2 hectares bordering the Nijverheidslaan and the Groenstraat are available for immediate commercial use. The remainder will be developed and made accessible by a new road and the necessary utilities. These second phase lots will be ready for building as early as the end of 2011. SME zones
Development of industrial areas constitutes one of LRM’s key activities.
